About Me

Hello! I'm Alex Magic, a children's writer, illustrator, and artist from Kyiv, Ukraine. From an early age, I've been fascinated by the underwater world with its wonders and amazing inhabitants. This passion has inspired me to create captivating stories for young readers.

The Birth of "The Adventures of Dino"

My first children's book, "The Adventures of Dino," was born during a challenging time - the war. This period, oddly enough, helped unleash my creative potential. Working on the book became not only a challenge but also a way to create something positive and inspiring for children in difficult times.

The Versatility of the Creative Process

In "The Adventures of Dino," I acted as the author, illustrator, layout designer, and editor. This experience allowed me to immerse myself in all aspects of creating a children's book. I even learned HTML programming to develop the electronic version myself. Ideas for stories come to me in the form of vivid images that I seem to see in my imagination and then transfer to paper or screen.

New Projects and Inspiration

Currently, I'm working on my second children's book about dogs, continuing to grow as a children's author. In addition to writing books, I create illustrations, combining traditional techniques with the capabilities of artificial intelligence. My artistic works can be found on Saatchi Art.

I often draw inspiration for my stories and illustrations during walks with my pet, a Brussels Griffon named Loki. His artistry, kindness, and love awaken my best creative qualities. Love for animals and nature runs like a red thread through all my work.

Quasar Art Kids - More Than Just Books

I also founded Quasar Art Kids, a project in which I create not only books but also other products for children with original designs: mugs, postcards, t-shirts. All of these are available in the Quasar Art Kids store on Amazon. My goal is not just to create stories but to build an entire universe that will inspire and delight children.

My Mission as a Children's Author

My main goal as a children's author is not only to entertain but also to inspire young readers, instill in them a love for reading and nature, and teach kindness and mutual assistance. I hope that my books will become a source of joy and new discoveries for children and their parents!
